TIPS TO BOOKING A SPLIT STAY

Booking a split stay involves a few extra steps and precautions to ensure you don’t spend more money than needed or create unnecessary chaos. Here are some tips:

1. Purchase Tickets Separately or on the First Package

Tickets are cheaper per day the more days you purchase. Instead of buying a 4-day ticket and a 3-day ticket, buy a 7-day ticket to save money.

2. Purchase the Dining Plan on the First Package

The Refillable Resort Mug you receive with your Dining Plan works at all resorts for 14 days from your check-in day. If you want the Dining Plan for only part of your visit, get it for the first leg to have the mug for your entire trip!

3. Pack Light!

Avoid bringing too many items. Use Disney’s Pack ‘n Plays and cribs instead of bringing your own. Limit snacks and refrigerated items, as transferring them can be tricky.

4. Use Bell Services

Bell Services will transfer your luggage to your next resort for free. Simply call them, have them pick up your bags, and enjoy your day at the parks. When you arrive at your new resort, call Bell Services to bring your luggage to your room. Don’t forget to tip!

5. Only Hop Upwards

It’s more enjoyable to go from a Value Resort to a Deluxe Resort. If staying at different categories (Value, Moderate, Deluxe), avoid starting at the high end and then moving down. If staying within the same category, save the most exciting resort for last!

6. Stay More Than One Night at Each Resort

Transferring can be tiring. Stay at least two nights at each resort to make the most of your experience.
