Table-Service Restaurants
Hollywood and Vine is a fun Character Meal where you can meet Minnie and some of her friends, during seasonal “parties.” The characters will be dressed in seasonal attire. The seasonal parties include Springtime Dine, Summertime Dine, Halloween Dine (they are dressed in Halloween costumes), Holiday Dine, and Silver Screen Dine.
The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is such a fun restaurant where you can enjoy your meal sitting in old-timey, car-shaped booths or tables while watching scenes from sci-fi thrillers in the back ground. My family visited recently and it immediately became a favorite for 2 reasons – fantastic environment and delicious ice cream sundaes!
Mama Melrose has good Italian, but you might want to save this for a dinner so that heavy meal isn’t sitting with you all afternoon at the parks.
For a more fine dining experience, you can visit The Hollywood Brown Derby. Their Cobb Salad is a hit!
*Oga’s Cantina is not a Table-Service restaurant. It is mainly a place to grab unique drinks, but it does require a reservation. This location has very fun alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, like the “Fuzzy Tauntaun” that will leave your lips and tongue tingling.
QUICK SERVICE
Woody’s Lunch Box is my go-to for quick service at Hollywood Studios. I’m slightly ashamed to admit how much I love the Totchos there. These are tater tots with chili, cheese, sour cream and chives. They also have delicious sandwiches, and a delicious breakfast bowl in the mornings. Finding a spot to sit down and eat here is very tough. Be prepared to stalk people for their tables or to just eat standing.
Docking Bay 7 is a great place to grab a meal if you are wanting to eat within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. They have a little bit of heavier meals, like pot roast, pork ribs, and fried chicken. I do think the food here is a little more unique, so you may want to check the menu if you have any picky eaters.
Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has a limited menu, but it’s packed strong with the famous Ronto Wrap.
ABC Commissary used to be known for their subpar food, but they have really stepped up their game in the past year! If you want a fun, immersive atmosphere while you eat at Disney, this isn’t it.
Fairfax Fare near Tower of Terror has some unique options like pork, chicken and beef waffle bowls.
Backlot Express, to the right of Indiana Jones, is your classic burger joint, and PizzeRizzo, near the Muppets Show, is your classic theme park pizza joint and is only open seasonally (when the park is “busy enough”).
SNACKS
In Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you can taste test the infamous Blue Milk and Green Milk at The Milk Stand.
Hollywood Scoops near Tower of Terror has a very good Apple Crisp a la Mode and a Brownie Sundae! They also have Hand-Scooped Ice Cream and Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches.
Epic Eats, near Indiana Jones, has a funnel cake with strawberry topping and vanilla soft-serve and another with cookies ’n cream and vanilla soft-serve. These are delicious, shareable, and a great snack value if you are on the Disney Dining Plan.
