Ok, so Animal Kingdom is a foodie haven. There are some amazing options here, even at Quick-Service locations, but let’s start with Table-Service options.

Looking for great dining options at the other parks? Find those here…
Table-Service Restaurants
I do feel obligated to tell you about Rainforest Cafe, which you will find before entering the park. While this is a fun experience, I don’t usually point people to this restaurant since the food is not very good, and you can find Rainforest Cafes across the nation.
If you are looking for a little more of a fine-dining experience, you will want to check out Tiffins Restaurant.
Connected to Tiffins is Nomad Lounge, one of the best places to simply rest and enjoy some drinks and appetizers. You do not make reservations at Disney Lounges, but you should check the app beforehand and attempt to join the walk-up list.
Tusker House is a fun Character Buffet in Africa where you can meet the Fab Five – Mickey and friends – in their adorable safari outfits.
Yak and Yeti is our go-to affordable table-service restaurant, and it offers delicious Pan-Asian food!
QUICK SERVICE
Satu’li Canteen offers deliciously fresh build-your-own-bowls. This is our go-to quick-service restaurant when we want some healthy options. The cheeseburger pods on the kids menu are also a hit.
Flame Tree Barbecue is a top pick with its rib and chicken combo, pulled pork sandwiches, and mac and cheese with pulled pork on top. That last one may sound gross, but it’s one of our favorites.
If you’re wanting the Pan-Asian Yak and Yeti food without the sit-down experience, they have a Quick-Service option right outside called Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes.
If you’re looking for something less “adventurous,” you could go to Restaurantosaurus where you can get the angus burger and chicken nugget route.
SNACKS
Eight Spoon Cafe is only open seasonally, but when it is open, there is a very good baked mac and cheese with pulled pork. This is similar to the Flame Tree Barbecue meal mentioned above.
Pongu Pongu is a little snack shack in Pandora that has the Night Blossom, a frozen lime, apple and pear drink with passion fruit pearls on top. It also has one of my favorite snacks, the cream cheese pineapple spring rolls!
Speaking of Flame Tree Barbecue, they have french fries with pulled pork and cheese… Again, sounds questionable, but a very good snack.
Tamu Tamu in Africa is a great place to get some ice cream or an ice cream cookie sandwich.
Dino-Bite Snacks in Dinoland also has sundaes, hand-scooped ice cream, and homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches.
So many amazing options at Animal Kingdom!
Happy planning!
