Two Ways to Ride

To ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you’ll have two options: joining the Virtual Queue or securing a Lightning Lane through Genie+.

1. Joining the Virtual Queue

Disney has implemented a Virtual Queue system to help manage the high demand for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Here’s how to join:

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Wake Up Early: You can attempt to join the Virtual Queue two times during the day: 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
2. Open the My Disney Experience App: Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed and open it at least a few minutes before the queue opens.
3. Select the Virtual Queue Option: Navigate to the Virtual Queue section and select Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
4. Join the Queue: At precisely 7:00 AM refresh the page and join the queue. Spots fill up fast, so be quick!
5. Try Again: If you are unable to join the Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM, you can try again at 1:00 PM.

Tips for Success:

• 7:00 AM Queue: You can join this queue from anywhere, whether you’re in your hotel room or on your way to the park.
• 1:00 PM Queue: For this time slot, you must have already scanned into the park for the day. Make sure you’re in the park and ready to join at 1:00 PM.

2. Securing a Lightning Lane with Genie+

The second way to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is by grabbing a Lightning Lane. However, to access this, you need to purchase Genie+.

Important Note: This is different from purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane selection. Genie+ is a paid service that grants access to Lightning Lanes for multiple attractions, while Individual Lightning Lane selections are separate purchases for specific high-demand rides.

How to Get a Lightning Lane Reservation:

1. Purchase Genie+: You can buy Genie+ on the day of your visit, any time after midnight, through the My Disney Experience app.
2. Reserve Your Lightning Lane: Before 7:00 AM, open up the Tip Board in the My Disney Experience app. Right at 7:00 AM refresh the Tip Board by swiping down. Selection Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to secure your Lightning Lane.

Tips for Genie+:

• Purchase Early: Genie+ can be purchased starting at midnight on the day of your visit. We don’t know what to expect those first few weeks of Tiana being open. You might want to consider purchasing Genie+ at midnight when it becomes available.
• Pin Tiana’s to the Top of Your Tip Board: Pin Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to the top of your Tip Board so you don’t wast time scrolling to find it at 7:00 AM when you are trying to grab the Lightning Lane.
